MONTHLY GATHERING:


Monthly Gathering Friday, September 12th, 7:00 pm: Corwin Kuhn, of the OSU Police, will talk to us about campus security, crowd control, and student safety issues. Join us for this timely topic, just in time for the heart of football season and election campaigning. We will mee at the home of Carla and Dick Nuenke (1460 Kingsgate Rd.) SIG MEETINGS:

Social SIG/Games Night: Saturday, September 13th, 7:00 PM, hosted by Marshall Ankrom at the home of Lu and Norm Bowers, 11050 Fancher Rd. Lot#50. Directions: St. Rte. 161 East from 1-270 toward Little Turtle/New Albany. Exit at hamilton Rd. to the North (Left turn if coming from I-270). This road dead ends into Central College Rd. Turn right (East) and go to the first stop sign. Turn left (North) onto Harlem Rd. Just after entering Delaware County the first road (goes only to the right/East) will be Fancher Rd. Trailer park of 'Westerville Estates' on the right. Go in the entrance, to the first road and turn left. 4 or 5 car lengths down the road turn right (first road). Lu and Norm's trailer is #50. Can We Talk is on Thursday nights at 7:30 pm (September 4, 11, 18, 25) We are meeting at Aladdin’s Eatery (2400 E. Main St., Bexley 43209; 614-586-1440). Aladdin’s is right across the street from the Bexley Library. Parking is in the back. See www.aladdinseatery.com. Ethic Food Group: Sunday, September 21st, 6:30 PM first ever meeting/dining at Taj Palace, 3794 Fishinger Blvd, Hilliard, OH. Check out the menu of this fine Indian Restaurant. Col-M Assembly: Wednesday, September 24th at 8:00 pm, at the home of Dick and Carla Nuenke in Columbus. Come help collate, fold, staple, and label the newsletter. Please call Dick or Carla at 326-0452 if you are attending, since occasionally the date needs to be changed.

ExCom Meeting: Sunday, Septermber 7th at 5 pm. Local members welcome. Contact Betsy McCall at 372-8042 if you are attending. Held at the home of at the home of Dick and Carla Nuenke, 1460 Kingsgate Rd. in Arlington.

Submissions deadline for COL-M Friday, September 19th. This is a firmish deadline. Original writing, poetry, photographs, drawings, or anything else printable will be accepted and printed at the editor's discretion. Send to cnuenke@netscape.net.
