Quest  —  by  Dick Nuenke

The May 2001 Quest contained a dozen well-known names of persons who have been "heard but not seen", but other than in radio.  The answer is they have all been telephone call-ins on episodes of the sit-com Frasier, in which psychiatrist Frasier Crane tries to give them advice on his radio show to callers' problems.  These are considered prize cameos to those who get them.  Not an easy category to decipher.  Bob Fritz, however, came up with the correct answer.

The list (with spelling errors corrected) was:  Ron Howard, Pia Zadora, Bonnie Raitt, John McEnroe, Yo Yo Ma, Mel Brooks, Julius Erving, Katerina Witt, Rosemary Clooney, Bob Costas, Jane Pauley, Armistead Maupin, Henry Mancini, Jane Pauley, Chris Durang, and Cindy Crawford.

The June Quest is an appropriate one for this time of year, and easier to decipher than the last one.  What is the common category to the following?

Weight Watchers Success Busy Bee
Gourmet Popcorn Fortune Cookie
White Ligntnin' Cocktail
Playgirl Playboy
Inkspots Stainless Steel
Magic Blanket Ballerina
Buffalo Gal Child's Play
Teddy Bear Robin Hood
