Last month's Quest listed 9 movies which had something in common.
All won Academy Awards for best song.
The names of the movies and songs were:
|
| 1. |
Pinocchio (When You Wish Upon a Star) |
| 2. |
Aladdin (A Whole New World) |
| 3. |
Paleface (Buttons and Bows) |
| 4. |
Dick Tracy (Sooner or Later) |
| 5. |
Tarzan (You'll Be in My Heart) |
| 6. |
Calamity Jane (Secret Love) |
| 7. |
Man Who Knew Too Much (Que Sera Sera) |
| 8. |
Butch Cassidy (Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head) |
| 9. |
The Big Broadcast of 1938 (Thanks for the Memory) |
| |
Correct identification of the category came from
Bob Fritz,
Alma Litten,
and
Kevin Skehan.
Both Alma and Kevin listed the titles of all the songs as well.
A recent visit to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland
provided an idea for the June Quest.
This is definitely not my area of competence, but perhaps you
can determine what historical music groups included the members' names listed below.
All are listed as first names except number 6.
|
| 1. |
Diana, Mary, Florence and Cindy |
| 2. |
Keith, Greg, and Carl |
| 3. |
Brian, Carl, Dennis, Al, and Mike |
| 4. |
John, Paul, Pete, George, and Stewart |
| 5. |
Barry, Robin, and Maurice |
| 6. |
Bonham, Plant, Page, and Jones |
| 7. |
David, Stephen, Graham, and Neil |
| 8. |
Jon, David, Alec, Richie, and Tico |
|
